Description:
This topical antimicrobial cream combines the broad-spectrum antibacterial properties of Silver Sulfadiazine (1%) with the antiseptic action of Chlorhexidine Gluconate (0.2%), providing enhanced protection against wound infections. The cream is specially formulated for use on burns, ulcers, cuts, abrasions, and other skin wounds to prevent and manage bacterial contamination.
Silver Sulfadiazine 1 g
Chlorhexidine Gluconate Solution (20% solution equivalent to 0.2% w/w active)

First- and second-degree burns
Infected or at-risk wounds
Pressure ulcers and bedsores
Post-surgical wound sites
Skin graft sites
Diabetic foot ulcers
Silver Sulfadiazine: Releases silver ions which disrupt bacterial cell walls and interfere with DNA replication, offering bactericidal activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms including Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Chlorhexidine Gluconate: A broad-spectrum antiseptic that disrupts microbial cell membranes and is effective against bacteria, fungi, and some viruses.
Clean the affected area thoroughly before application.
Apply a thin layer of cream once or twice daily or as directed by a physician.
The area may be covered with a sterile dressing if necessary.
Reapply after cleaning or changing the dressing.
For external use only.
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
Discontinue use if hypersensitivity or irritation occurs.
Not recommended for prolonged use over large surface areas without medical supervision.
Store below 25C in a dry place.
Keep out of reach of children.
